Reporting a problem

Tell us:

  • Your phone model and Android version
  • The app version, if you know it
  • What happened, and what you expected to happen

A screenshot can help. Please don't send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary personal information or videos.

Requests about your information

  1. Email us, from the address you used before if you've contacted us already.
  2. Tell us whether you'd like a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion.
  3. We may need to confirm it's you before we act.

We'll confirm we've received your request. We use the minimum information needed to confirm it's you, usually your existing support conversation, and we don't routinely ask for identity documents. If we need more, we'll explain why and how to send it securely. If someone asks on another person's behalf, including a parent, we check their authority first.

Privacy requests stay open until we've dealt with them, even though an ordinary support case awaiting your response closes after 30 days without a response. We'll respond within the time UK data protection law allows, and if we can't do all of what you ask, we'll explain why.

Delete your GenClip account

To delete your GenClip account, email genclip@gencoreglobal.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my GenClip account”.

  1. We reply to that address to confirm the request came from you.
  2. We then delete your GenClip account and the personal information linked to it within 30 days, and email you when it’s done.
  3. If you also use your Gencore account for another Gencore product, we tell you before removing anything that product needs.

What we keep. Records of Google Play purchases are kept for 6 years, as UK law requires, for tax, refunds and fraud prevention. They are stored in protected form and aren’t used for anything else.

Subscriptions. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

On your phone. Your edits and videos are stored only on your phone, and Gencore never receives them. Remove edits using the app’s controls. Uninstalling GenClip does not remove your original videos, gallery exports, copies shared to other apps or independently stored backups. Manage those copies separately where they are stored.

Cancelling a subscription

GenClip Pro is a Google Play subscription (UK prices: £4.99 a month or £39.99 a year). Google Play shows the price for your country before you subscribe. To cancel, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GenClip, then Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and Pro results you've already made stay viewable and exportable after Pro ends. Deleting your GenClip account does not cancel the subscription.
